All hail the skincare Gods. I always say I’m obsessed with skincare products and I’ll say it again – I’m obsessed with skincare products. I love trying new products! As of late, my skin has been clear of breakouts but I’m still battling with dullness and an uneven skin-tone. When I got my hands on these Sunday Riley products I was so happy. I hear nothing but great things about their products and they honestly live up to their word. Working these 5 products – Ceramic Slip, Juno, Good Genes, Bionic and Starting Over – has been making a difference in my skin, even though I’ve only had them for 2 weeks. You know how you use products and they ONLY work when you’re actually using them? That’s not the case with Sunday Riley from what I’ve seen. I can go a few days without using it and still see the benefits of the products. Below are my mini reviews of each one.
Ceramic Slip:: I’ve been using this as my 2nd cleanser (because I always double cleanse). I find that just using your fingertips to work it into a lather works much better than trying to using a cleansing cloth or brush (I use muslin cloths and didn’t see the lathering effect without having to use TOO much cleanser thus just really wasting the product). The aroma is very clay-like, which isn’t a bad thing because it makes me feel like I’m at a spa. This has helped to minimize and tighten my pores as well as give me a slight glow after using it.
Juno:: I believe an oil or serum is absolutely necessary. This is a dry oil that leaves your skin so so SO smooth. It also absorbs into your skin pretty fast. It contains Retinol, Vitamin C and essential amino acids (among other amazing ingredients) that I feel working to repair my skin. I can definitely see that my skin is plump and that a glow is leftover.
Good Genes:: After using Juno, I wait 30 seconds and use this holy grail of skincare products. It contains a lactic acid that helps with skin brightening, fine lines, scarring and an uneven skin-tone. Sometimes I feel a slight tingling sensation when I use this, but I think that’s a good thing because I can feel it working. Simply put, this stuff does what it says it will do. There’s also an extra benefit to this product – you can use it for a flash facial! Just mix it with 3 pumps of Ceramic Slip, leave on for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse off. Viola! Two benefits in one.
Bionic:: OMG. I love the smell of this product! It helps to rebuild collagen and stimulate elastin production. It’s incredibly hydrating. It also helps to give your skin a somewhat boost in energy, which I can see. My skin doesn’t look as dull anymore. I use this after Good Genes, but again, I wait 30 seconds to give the products a chance to absorb into my skin.
Start Over:: I like the cool effect this has when rubbing onto my undereye bags. Unfortunately due to genetics, I have natural bags under my eyes that I constantly battle with. But using this helps calm how puffy they get and also combats any darkness I have on the days I’m really tired. I use it morning and night.
All in all, I HIGHLY recommend Sunday Riley products. You get your money’s worth and it’s like a spa experience at home. Can’t beat that! Do you already use their products? What do you think of them?
